Wrexham midfielder Danny Sonner has agreed a deal with the Welsh side which will see him staying at the Racecourse Ground until the end of the season. The experienced former Northern Ireland international had initially signed a one-month deal with the Red Dragons on January 11, but manager Brian Little has rewarded the 35-year-old for his impressive recent form with a new contract. Little said: "His experience has helped us greatly in recent games and I'm sure it will continue to benefit us." Sonner has enjoyed a nomadic career with spells at a dozen clubs including Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest and Port Vale. Wrexham are currently bottom of League Two and two points adrift of Mansfield Town in 91st place. In other news, Wrexham duo Conall Murtagh and Levi Mackin have extended their deals with Droylsden until the end of the season.
