Saunders hint over Wrexham future

"A lot of them have signed until the end of the season so it's going to be a big job replacing 15 or so players if some of them leave and where I get them from… because... I've not seen many at this level I'd like to take and get in our team. "So I'm going to have to have a think in the summer how we're going to go about it and have a chat with the chairman and see where we are and how we're going to go forward." The assistant Wales manager says Wrexham's plight has been largely self-inflicted after an encouraging start to his Racecourse reign when he succeeded Brian Little in October. "I've put everything I've got into trying to get the club out of the league," said Saunders. "We got ourselves in a great position and we didn't lose a game for four months. I've kept improving the team. "I know the team out on the pitch is better than the team that went 20-odd games without losing and we've just kept making mistakes after mistakes, unbelievable mistakes… from players who you don't expect to do it."
