Wrexham manager Brian Carey has moved quickly to seal the permanent signing of Carlisle United goalkeeper Anthony Williams.
The 29-year-old Welsh shot-stopper moved to the Racecourse Ground on loan in March and made nine starts for the Red Dragons as they successfully battled to avoid relegation to the Conference.
Williams has a wealth of experience having played 241 League games during a ten-year professional career
He was a trainee at Blackburn but failed to make a first-team appearance for Rovers and spent time on loan with Macclesfield Town, Huddersfield Town, Bristol Rovers and Gillingham before moving to Hartlepool United on a free transfer.
Williams played 131 League games for Pools and went on to spend a season with Grimsby Town before signing for Carlisle two years ago.
