O'Leary eyes longer Wrexham stay

Former Swansea City midfielder Kristian O'Leary is keen to stay at Wrexham for a promotion drive next season.The 33-year-old has signed a one-month trial deal at the Racecourse, but will discuss future options. [LNB]"It's a shame that Wrexham are where they are, but they hope to have a good push next season and I'd like to be part of it," he told BBC Sport Wales. [LNB]Port Talbot-born O'Leary left Swansea earlier this year after nearly 15 years with the senior side. [LNB]He made over 300 appearances for the Swans after his debut under Jan Molby in 1995.[LNB] Should O'Leary get an extended deal at Wrexham? "I've been training up here for about three weeks now," said O'Leary after Tuesday's 2-2 draw with AFC Wimbledon. [LNB]"I was offered a short-term contract last week and signed until the end of the season. [LNB]"It suits both parties at the minute, it's been a long time since I had regular football. [LNB]"We'll sit down at the end of the month and see what happens."
