New deals for Dragons trio

Wrexham boss Denis Smith has handed contract extensions to three of the club's youngsters - Mike Williams, Matt Done and Michael Jones.

Williams has agreed a deal that will keep him at the Racecourse Ground until June 2009 while Done and Jones have penned contracts until the end of the 2007-08 campaign.

"Too often in the recent past we've been unable to begin talks with players and then seen them walk away when their contracts have expired," Smith told the club's official website.

"Now things are changing back, I have more scope to sit down and chat with the players about their futures.

"First on my list has been talking to Mike, Matty and Michael, and I'm delighted that they've shown a commitment to the club."
