Mitchell makes Dragons move

Wrexham have signed the MK Dons midfielder Paul Mitchell on a three-month loan deal as caretaker boss Brian Carey attempts to lift the Red Dragons up the League Two table. The 25-year-old former Wigan Athletic star was a first-team regular for Martin Allen's side at the start of the season, but has spent most of the last two months on the substitute's bench. Allen has inserted a clause in the deal allowing him to recall Mitchell after a month should he desire, and the midfielder is also ineligible to play in the League Two encounter between the two sides in March. Mitchell has been included in the Wrexham squad for Saturday's clash at Swindon Town.
