Wrexham boss Brian Little has made his eighth signing of the January transfer window by adding Tranmere Rovers defender Carl Tremarco to his squad.
The 22-year-old played under Little at Prenton Park and has signed a contract which will run until the end of the season.
Tremarco has made over 50 appearances for Rovers since his debut in 2003, however only ten of these appearances have been made this season, including a recent sending-off against Doncaster.
Rovers boss Ronnie Moore told the club's official website: "Carl is at a stage in his career where he needs to play regular first-team football.
"Unfortunately, we can't guarantee him that at Tranmere and this transfer to Wrexham gives him that opportunity."
Tremarco follows striker Stuart Nicholson and midfielder Jeff Whitley who have also been added to the Dragons squad in the last 24 hours.
Nicholson has put pen to paper on a three-month loan deal, while Whitley has signed a non-contract deal.
