Gateshead boosted their survival hopes with a crucial win over Wrexham who are now eight games without a victory.Graeme Armstrong grabbed the only goal five minutes after the break when he beat Dragons goalkeeper Chris Maxwell to a long ball. [LNB]Maxwell had earlier pulled off a fantastic save to keep out Andy Parkinson's drilled effort. [LNB]Silvio Spann and Mike Williams had chances for Wrexham but Paul Farnham was on hand to deny them both.
