The club enjoyed great success in their early years winning the Worcester cup every year from 1908 - 1914 and then winning the league. The championship was also won for a second time in 1924/5. The club then switched to the southern leahue which they won in 1940. More recently the club have been part of the Dr Martens league which they stayed in for five consecutive years which no other team have ever been able to match.
