Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has made Gillingham's highly-rated winger Matt Jarvis his first signing of the summer.
The 21-year-old moves to Molineux on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee, although Wolves also have an additional one-year option on the player.
"I'm really delighted, this is a fantastic move for me," Jarvis told Wolves' official website.
"It wasn't very long ago that I first heard about it but I'm really glad that it's happened.
"I've played at Molineux before for Gillingham and I think it's a fantastic stadium and set-up.
"I've spoken to the manager, Mick McCarthy, and he seems like a man who's very keen on encouraging you. You always want to work for a manager that you can look up to and talk to and everyone tells me he's a good guy to work for."
The Middlesbrough-born player scored 16 goals in 122 appearances for the Gills.
