Wolves have finally got their man after completing the signing of Stephen Hunt from Hull City.
The Republic of Ireland international winger has joined the Molineux club on a three-year contract after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
Wolves had seen three previous bids for the 28-year-old former Reading midfielder rejected by the relegated Tigers following an initial approach during the January transfer window.
Hunt spent just one season at the KC Stadium where he scored six goals in 27 appearances.
"It's been a long time coming in terms of all the speculation," he told his new club's official website.
"It was out of my control what happened in January. Now it's done and I'm just looking forward to getting going and working with the manager and the players.
"I know a lot of the players and am sure there's a lot of banter flies around the place. I'm looking forward to that and being part of a good season.
"I was really enjoying my football there (at Hull) and would like to wish Hull all the best but this is a fresh challenge and I'm really looking forward to it."
