Ward hopes for Wolves stay

Wolves defender Darren Ward does not think his time at Molineux is necessarily over even though he was recently made available for transfer by boss Mick McCarthy.
The former Watford, Millwall and Crystal Palace player is determined to make McCarthy change his mind and believes he can still play a big part in helping the club clinch promotion to the Premier League.
Ward said: "I was disappointed that the conversation I had with the manager then became a transfer-list situation, but I don't necessarily want to leave because Wolves is a great club.
"I'm 29, and not yet near my best, and if Wolves want me to stay I will. I have no problem with coming back here and trying to get back in because I love the club.
"Wolves are a big club who should be in the Premier League and next season I think we'll be really strong whether I'm here or not."
