Stearman: Wolves can be a force

Mick McCarthy is yet to make his first signing of the summer despite being linked with a host of players. But Stearman, who is currently on international duty with England at the European Under-21 Championships in Sweden, believes it is only a matter of time before the quality additions start to arrive. "I'm not really that surprised that we haven't brought anyone in yet," he told Wolves' official website. "Hopefully the fans can remain patient. I'm sure the gaffer and the rest of his backroom staff will be looking to bring in the right players and not just panic buying. "I've said previously we've got the nucleus of a good team we're going to carry forward into the Premier League. Now we just have to make the right additions to the squad."
