Several clubs eyeing Bothroyd

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy has revealed that a number of clubs are interested in signing striker Jay Bothroyd from the Molineux club. The 26-year-old does not feature in McCarthy's plans for next season and Leeds United are reported to be leading the chase for his signature. McCarthy told the Express & Star: "There's a bit of interest in him, Leeds certainly had an interest and three or four Championship clubs have enquired about him. "I don't know who has agreed terms, but three or four Championship clubs have mooted an interest, some more than others. "It's up to him. He can go, he's not playing here, but it's not down to me to pick and choose clubs for him."
