Prem trio closing on Fortune

Three Premier League clubs have had bids accepted for Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune, who impressed while on loan at West Bromwich Albion last season.

The 27-year-old scored five times in 18 appearances for the Baggies and has been linked with the likes of Portsmouth, Wolves and Fulham.

Nancy's sporting director, Nicolas Holveck, confirmed: "We have accepted three separate offers, all from English clubs.

"All are in excess of four million euros and, with add-ons, one is approaching the five-million mark.

"We're happy to allow the player to begin negotiations with these clubs and we expect the transfer to be formalised by Monday.

"It's still possible he could move to Celtic, but they've yet to make an acceptable offer."
