Prem interest in Kightly

Everton and Aston Villa have both been linked with summer moves for Wolves forward Michael Kightly.

The 21-year-old former Southend United trainee was a big hit at Molineux following his arrival from non-league Grays Athletic, netting eight goals in 26 appearances Mick McCarthy's side last season.

Kightly still has two years of his current deal to run and seemingly has no desire to move on just yet.

He had earlier told the Birmingham Mail: "There has been some speculation about me and other clubs, but I have always said that if I was offered a new, longer contract here at Wolves then I would be more than happy to sign it.

"I love the place, I get on really well with the rest of the lads, the supporters have been fantastic and I think the gaffer is a top manager."
