Player Details

Karl Henry is an experienced midfielder who joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2006, becoming one of Mick McCarthy?s first signings for the club. Karl is mostly used as a holding player in the centre of the park, providing a reassuring presence, strong tackling and high work rate. He has been a first choice for much of his Molineux career and until the arrival of Roger Johnson in the summer of 2011 he was also captain. Although a local Wolverhampton lad, Karl started his career with Stoke City and made over 100 appearances for the Potters before returning to play for his hometown club.
