Olofinjana commits to Wolves

Nigeria international Seyi Olofinjana has pledged his future to Wolves by penning a new contract that will keep him at Molineux until June 2011.

The 27-year-old midfielder, who has spent the last three seasons with the Championship side, is pleased to have committed his future to Mick McCarthy's side.

He told the club's official website: "I fancy us to go up this year and I want to be a big part of it. I had no doubts whatsoever about signing.

"I want to play in an environment where I'm liked and made to feel welcome. I have family living here. I can't ask for any more.

"I didn't want to go away to the African Cup of Nations (in January), then come back and have all the speculation. So I'm glad it's all done and dusted."
