No further Eastwood action

Wolves striker Freddy Eastwood will face no further action after an incident in an Essex nightclub on Saturday.

The 23-year-old Wales international was arrested but released without charge and Molineux chief executive Jez Moxey has revealed the matter is now closed.

"We have spoken to Freddy who tells us that when he stepped in to help break up an incident involving his brother-in-law he was punched and defended himself," he told the club's official website.

"The police confirmed he was subsequently arrested, questioned, cautioned, released without charge, and that no further reaction will be taken.

"As far as we're concerned, that is the end of the matter but we have reminded all our players to be mindful of being drawn into such incidents as this."
