New long-term deal for Jarvis
11 Feb 2009 - 11:41:48
Wolves winger Matt Jarvis has pledged his long-term future to the club by penning a deal that will see him remain at Molineux until the end of the 2011-12 campaign.
The news comes just 24 hours after team-mate Andy Keogh agreed a new lengthy deal with the club.
Former Gillingham star Jarvis told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to have signed the extension and, as soon as the possibility was there, I was happy to get into the talks.
"I'm very happy here. I enjoy playing for Wolves. The supporters have been very good to me and I just want to be part of things here for as long as I can. So to sign for the extra years is fantastic."
The 22-year-old has scored three goals in 34 starts and 15 substitute appearances for Wolves following his arrival at Molineux in the summer of 2007.
