Wolves chairman Steve Morgan is confident his club will survive in the Premier League and ultimately be competitive in the top-flight.
The Molineux outfit comfortably won the Championship last season and Morgan claims he is not even contemplating the possibility of relegation.
"I'm not even thinking about staying up this season because the thought of going down isn't even crossing my mind," he told the Express and Star.
"We're going into the Premier League and we're going in there to stay. With the nucleus we've already got and the blend we'll have, I think we'll be a force next season."
Wolves have been linked with a £6million bid for Reading striker Kevin Doyle and Morgan has admitted that several potential transfer deals are in the pipeline.
He added: "I think we've got a great squad which we're in the process of adding to.
"We've added two so far and with the nucleus of what we already have, and with the quality of players we're hoping to bring in, I think we'll give anyone a run for their money next season.
"We're determined to bring quality to the club."
