Wolves striker Chris Iwelumo has broken his metatarsal in a friendly clash against Perth Glory.
The 30-year-old Scotland international was injured in a tackle with Jacob Burns after 18 minutes of the match - the club's first on their pre-season tour of Australia.
Iwelumo has only just returned from a knee ligament injury, which ruled him out of the final five matches of last season.
Wolves beat Perth 1-0, with Sylvan Ebanks-Blake scoring the only goal of a tight game.
All six of Mick McCarthy's summer signings - Nenad Milijas, Marcus Hahnemann, Kevin Doyle, Andrew Surman, Greg Halford and Ronald Zubar - played in the match.
