Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Jackie McNamara has set his sights on a return to first-team action after overcoming cruciate knee ligament damage.
The 33-year-old has been sidelined since April but, after successfully coming through a reserve team outing, believes he is ready for a recall.
"I felt confident, my fitness is good and I'm looking forward to pushing for a first-team place," McNamara told the club's official website.
"The lads got a great result against Southend last time so I know I'll have to wait for my chance. But the boss knows I'm available."
