McCarthy agrees to Ward loan

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has allowed Darren Ward to join Watford on a month's loan.

The former Hornets defender has spent just over 12 months at Molineux, making 34 appearances for the current Championship leaders.

However, he has failed to start a league game for McCarthy's in-form side so far this term after being transfer-listed at the end of last season.

Ward made 59 League appearances during his first stint at Watford before joining Millwall and then Crystal Palace.
