Kyle heads to Molineux

Wolves have wrapped up the signing of striker Kevin Kyle on loan from Coventry City until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old Scotland international has struggled to make his mark with the Sky Blues, scoring five goals in 47 appearances, with Kyle looking forward to linking up with his former Sunderland boss Mick McCarthy at Molineux.

He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to be here. Wolves are in a good position to get into the play-offs, if not automatic promotion.

"And it's great to link up with Mick McCarthy again. He got the best out of me when he was at Sunderland.

"I'm here to work hard and fight for a place and do my bit for the team. It's going to be tough, but it's a challenge I'm relishing."

Kyle started his career with the Black Cats and has also had loan spells with Huddersfield Town, Darlington and Rochdale.
