Wolves are set to make a statement about boss Mick McCarthy's future after reports linked the former Republic of Ireland manager with the vacant head coach's position for South Korea. The Asian nation's Football Association have announced that McCarthy or former Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier will be handed the role. Spokesman You Young-chul said: "A final decision will be made very soon. It's 50-50 between the two." McCarthy has been in charge at Molineux since July 2006 and his side are currently sixth in the Championship table after finishing fifth last term.
