Henry rues 'massive' Kightly blow
Published : 02 Apr 2009 11:49:00

The England Under-21 winger, who has been one of the star players for the league leaders this season, will play no part in the club's remaining six games having broken his metatarsal during a friendly against Shrewsbury on Tuesday. Henry told the club's official website: "It's really disappointing and everyone is gutted for Kights. I'm feeling for him right now because he so wanted to finish the season. "We've got such an important run-in and he's such an important player for us that it's a massive blow. It is gutting, especially after you've worked hard all season." But Henry, 26, also believes it will spur Wolves on even more to reward Kightly's efforts with top-flight football on his return. He added: "It's down to us now to make sure that the next time he does play it's with us in the Premier League."
