Halford hints at Pompey contract

Portsmouth's loan defender Greg Halford has given a strong hint that he could join the club on a permanent basis from Premier League strugglers Wolves.The 26-year-old has made 32 appearances since joining Championship side Pompey on loan in October. He told BBC Radio Solent: "The manager has indicated that he'd like to sign me permanently, but we'll have to wait and see what happens.
