Wolves' Hungarian international defender Gabor Gyepesis fearful his season could be over after he picked up a possible knee ligament injury in the 3-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday at Molineux.

Gyepes suffered the injury towards the end of the game and will undergo a scan to determine if surgery is required which would bring his campaign to a premature end.

He said: "At the end of the game, my left knee got injured in a tackle.

"I had an X-ray and I do not know for sure but it may be ligament damage.

"I will undergo an MRI scan on Monday and then I will know whether or not I will have to have surgery."
