Wolves winger Mark Kennedy has undergone exploratory surgery on a knee problem that has proved not to be as serious as was first feared.
The 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international feared he was set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, but was given good news after the operation.
Physio Steve Kemp told the club's official website: "The fear was that the problem could have been a serious one but thankfully that didn't prove to be the case.
"When the surgeon had a look inside the ankle, he found no serious abnormalities and he just performed a tidying-up procedure on the joint surfaces.
"Mark will be able to start rehab in two or three days."
