Friend set for Lions loan switch

The 21-year-old, who joined the Molineux club from Exeter in September 2008, is expected to complete the switch on Friday ahead of Millwall's home game against Carlisle the following day. He will provide valuable defensive cover for the Lions, who are currently missing Paul Robinson, Zak Whitbread, Tony Craig, Pat O'Connor and Danny Senda through injury. Friend's loan is set to take in six fixtures, up to and including the trip to Gillingham on September 12.
