Edwards won't give up

Wolves defender Rob Edwards still hopes to return to action before the end of the season despite suffering a medial knee ligament injury in training.

The 24-year-old has not played since last month's 6-0 home defeat to Southampton, but has pencilled in a return to action in the play-offs, if Mick McCarthy's side can secure a place in the top six.

"Hopefully I'll be back," he told the club's official website.

"The play-off final is on May 28 and, if we get there, I'd definitely like to be involved by then. That would give me plenty of time."
