Edwards exit saddens Mick

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is disappointed that Sunderland have recalled Carlos Edwards from his loan spell at Molineux. The winger made six appearances for the Championship leaders and McCarthy would have welcomed a longer stay for the Trinidad & Tobago international. He said: "It's always the case that you can lose a loan player. I'm disappointed because he's done well but that's the danger when they play well - circumstances change and you can lose them. "He's been really good for us and got better and better but he's not our player so good luck to him. "I'd have him back any day of the week because he's a great lad and a good player."
