Wolves striker Freddy Eastwood netted the only goal of the game as he marked his Wales debut with the winner in a 1-0 victory in Bulgaria.
Eastwood, who qualifies for Wales through a grandparent, cracked home a superb shot from the edge of the area right on half-time in Burgas to seal an excellent friendly win.
Wales manager John Toshack said: "It was a really special goal. Freddy knew just what he wanted to do and worked his way into a position to crack it home.
"We have produced several decent performances of late, several 0-0 draws when we have had chances but missed them.
"Now we have got a player up front who knows his business.
"We have been aware of his goalscoring exploits and have worked hard to make sure he became a Wales international."
