Donny gaffer makes Keogh enquiry

Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll has confirmed he has made an enquiry about the possibility of signing Wolves forward Andy Keogh. O'Driscoll is keen to reunite Keogh in attack along with former Scunthorpe team-mate Billy Sharp following Sharp's arrival from Sheffield United earlier this week. Wolves are thought to be open to offers for Keogh after the Republic of Ireland international dropped down the pecking order at Molineux. O'Driscoll has admitted he has asked about Keogh, but insists he has yet to make an offer for the 24-year-old. "To put Andy and Billy together again is something to consider," said O'Driscoll. "You talk to a lot of clubs about players without making a concrete offer and we have done that with Andy Keogh. "It will all depend on what Andy's situation is with Wolves. He knows a lot of our players and he is certainly someone who interests us." Sharp revealed he has spoken to Keogh about a possible move to the Keepmoat Stadium and he believes the player is keen on a move to Doncaster. "Keogh is one of my good mates. He has mentioned it to me, he wants to play football like me and Doncaster are interested in him," said Sharp. "I think if Mick McCarthy would let him go out on loan then he will come here. If he does come here then it would be a brilliant addition to the squad."
