Berra ponders England move

Hearts captain Christophe Berra has admitted that he would relish the chance to try his luck in the English Premier League sometime in the future.

The 23-year-old central defender is a rumoured target for Bolton Wanderers and Berra, having been close to joining Wolves last summer.

He told the Daily Record: "These things will happen when you're playing well.

"Wolves did make an offer and things at the club at the time were unsettled because we didn't have a manager.

"The club rejected the offer, but I have ambitions to play at a higher level, hopefully in the English Premier League.

"I'm only 23 and still developing as a player. However, if I keep playing an improving I'm sure my chance will come."
