Wolves patient over McCarthy move

Both Wolves and Wigan has concluded talks with the 18-year-old after agreeing fees with the SPL club for his services. Barring any late attempt from a rival to bid for the youngster he will join either Wolves or Wigan in the coming days. Although Wolves are anxious to know who he will join, chief executive Jez Moxey insists they are pressing for a decision. "It's a young man facing a big, big decision and the delay is understandable," Moxey told the Express and Star. "There is absolutely no pressure from here on a decision." McCarthy has conceded he was impressed by Wolves, but his comments fell short of divulging which team he would join. "I was impressed with what Wolves had to say, I spent the morning with them," said McCarthy. "The stadium is impressive and the facilities are great. I met Mick McCarthy and we had a good chat."
