Wanderers secured the Championship title with a 1-1 draw at Barnsley last week, but McCarthy knows no one will remember this success if they fail to perform next season. "While I am in no way disrespecting the achievement, we are always judged on our next game," McCarthy told the club's official website. "I love the fact we've won it - I'm thrilled for me and for everyone but it's done. "Has anyone said to (West Brom manager) Tony Mowbray how well he did last season? He was brilliant and it's been tough for him this season. "I bet no one has mentioned it once."
