Wolves manager Stale Solbakken has had to alter his transfer plans following the injuries suffered at Molineux.

With Dave Edwards ruled out for two months with a torn hamstring, Slawomir Peszko sidelined until January and Razak Boukari also out injured, Solbakken has had his midfield options severely limited. Jamie O'Hara is yet to make an appearance this campaign, while Tongo Doumbia has only recently returned to training, meaning the Wolves boss has had to reassess his transfer targets.

He told the Express & Star: "The problem is governed a bit by the injuries - that makes it more difficult.

"We're normally well equipped with midfielders, but with all the injuries in one area, that forces us to change or think differently about other players.

"Over the next two or three weeks, we'll see what we can expect or not from the injured players. We might have one priority in one area, and that may have to change.

"We have shortlists of players now and we're working on them."
