Wolverhampton Wanderers will look to pick up points whilst also increasing their poor tally of just 10 goals at home in the Premier League this season when they face Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Only one side, Manchester City in 2006/07, has ever scored as few as 10 goals at home in English top-flight history and if Mick McCarthy's side fail to score in this game they will equal the longest run of consecutive matches without scoring in the Premier League this season (five).

Recent form does not bode well for Wolves as there has been just one goal in the last four Premier League games involving Wolves and Blackburn have drawn seven games 0-0 this season, more than any other side in the top-flight.

Wolves' veteran Jody Craddock believes that this match is important for his side as they still need to collect points in order to be safe from relegation.

The defender said: "We're not mathematically safe so we can't say we're safe. We've got to keep going and picking up points."

Despite both side's form of failing to find the net in the Premier League this season, history suggests that there will be goals in this fixture.

The meeting between the two clubs earlier this season saw Rovers' pick up all three points with a 3-1 win at Ewood Park, while overall there have been 14 goals scored in the three Premier league meetings between Wolves and Blackburn, with at least four in each match.

Blackburn will need to improve on their poor recent run of form away from home - a run which has seen them pick up a solitary victory from their last 11 Premier League away matches.
