Ikeme back in Wolves frame

Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme returns to contention for Wolves' home clash against struggling Notts County.

Ikeme was this week back in full training having recovered from a broken bone in his hand sustained on New's Year's Day, but it remains to be seen whether he goes straight back into head coach Kenny Jackett's starting XI.

Aaron McCarey has stepped in for the last five matches, keeping three clean sheets amid four successive wins for the Black Country club, and he will battle it out with fit-again Ikeme for the number one spot.

Midfielder Dave Edwards (foot) is set to rejoin training next week.

Notts County will be boosted by the return of Ronan Murray.

The striker has completed a three-match suspension and his availability is a timely boost to manager Shaun Derry, who is unable to call on the services of Callum Ball (ankle ligaments) for some time.

Former Huddersfield forward Jimmy Spencer marked his debut with a stunning goal and is expected to keep his place.

Defender Dean Leacock, who had been playing through the pain, missed the win over Coventry last week and may return, while midfielder Gary Liddle continues to occupy the sidelines.
