Dominic Iorfa banned for Wolves against Middlesbrough

Dominic Iorfa is suspended for Wolves as they try to handle a growing defensive crisis ahead of Middlesbrough's visit.

The defender collected his fifth booking of the season in Wednesday's defeat to Brentford but the England Under-21 international also suffered a knee injury and was forced off during the game.

Matt Doherty is likely to replace him and head coach Kenny Jackett now only has four fit defenders with the boss confirming he is looking at beefing up his backline.

Dave Edwards will be assessed after the Wales international picked up a groin problem while away with his country.

Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka has no fresh injury problems as he attempts to end the club's three-game wait for a victory.

The Teessiders, who have collected just one of the last nine points they have contested to slip to sixth place in the Sky Bet Championship table and seven points adrift of leaders Brighton, have a question mark over striker Cristhian Stuani, who sat out the 1-0 defeat at Cardiff in midweek with the hamstring problem with which he returned from international duty with Uruguay.

Karanka otherwise has only long-term absentees Damia Abella, Alex Baptiste and Rhys Williams missing for the trip to Molineux.

However, Boro have a trio of men just one game away from suspension with defender Daniel Ayala and midfielders Grant Leadbitter and Adam Clayton having reached four bookings for the campaign.
