Nouha Dicko nears Wolves return

Nouha Dicko is closing in on a Wolves return after a year out with a knee injury.

The forward played 45 minutes in the Under-23s' 1-0 win at Aston Villa on Monday but is not yet expected to be included in Walter Zenga's squad.

Mike Williamson (glute), Michal Zyro and Jordan Graham (both knee) are long-standing injury victims and remain out.

New signing Silvio is also sidelined and likely to be out for the rest of the month.

Former Wolves boss Mick McCarthy returns to Molineux with an Ipswich side missing a number of players through injury.

Everton loanee Conor Grant has suffered a groin problem in training, while Luke Hyam is expected to miss the next month with his own injury.

Meanwhile, Brett Pitman (thigh) is still out as McCarthy revealed he is down to the "bare bones" for the trip to face his former side.

One piece of good news for Ipswich is that David McGoldrick does not require surgery on an ankle ligament injury, although he will remain sidelined for the foreseeable future.
