Ricketts back in Wolves frame

Wolves skipper Sam Ricketts is one of five players back in full training ahead of the visit of Gillingham.

The defender missed Tuesday's embarrassing Capital One Cup defeat at Morecambe due to illness, as did Bjorn Sigurdarson, but the pair are back in the fold to feature at Molineux.

Bakary Sako (groin), Richard Stearman (hamstring) and George Elokobi (groin) have also returned to training and have a chance.

Midfielder Dave Edwards (ankle) is the only member of Kenny Jacketts'ssquad to definitely miss out.

Gillingham will assess as many as four players ahead of their trip.

Charlie Lee, Charlie Allen (both bruised foot), Adam Barrett (leg) and Adebayo Akinfenwa (ankle) are each facing a race against time to prove their fitness ahead of the clash at Molineux.

Right-back Matt Fish was this week ruled out for the long-term after scans to his knee showed he damaged his cruciate ligament in last Saturday's season-opening 1-0 defeat to Colchester.

Gillingham meet Wolves in the league for the first time since 2005, with three divisions separating the two teams just 18 months ago.
