Selection poser for Solbakken

Wolves boss Stale Solbakken faces a selection dilemma ahead of the visit of Brighton.

The Norwegian admits out-of-form Wanderers' current predicament is getting more serious with every game, Tuesday's latest below-par performance and subsequent 2-1 defeat at Hull leaving the club winless in five matches.

Solbakken kept to his promise of bringing in new faces at the KC Stadium - Richard Stearman, Dave Edwards and Bjorn Sigurdarson replacing Kevin Foley, Jermaine Pennant and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.

But after another poor display and no new injury or selection problems expected, Solbakken must decide whether to stick or twist again as Wolves enter a period of three home game in their next four matches.

Slawomir Peszko (knee), Razak Boukari (calf), Stephen Hunt (hip), George Elokobi (ankle), Jamie O'Hara (hernia) and Steven Mouyokolo (knee) remain sidelined.

Liam Bridcutt returns to the Brighton squad for the trip.

The midfielder missed Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Peterborough through suspension after collecting five yellow cards this season and is expected to go straight back into the starting XI.

Defender Adam El-Abd looks set to miss out again with the hamstring injury which sidelined him in midweek.

Boss Gus Poyet has confirmed El-Abd will not be available to link up with the Egypt squad next week, and Lewis Dunk is set to deputise again at Molineux.

Former Spain international Vicente is the only other absentee as he continues to build up his fitness following a thigh injury, while Poyet has made fellow midfielder Matt Sparrow available for loan.
