Wallace may make Wolves bow

Jed Wallace could make his Wolves debut in the Capital One Cup clash with Barnet as he nears full fitness following a foot injury after his move from Portsmouth in the summer.

The visit of the Bees had been earmarked for a return for the midfielder but fringe player Razak Boukari ruptured his patellar tendon playing for the Under-21s against Fulham on Friday and is set to be sidelined for a year.

Danny Batth is still sidelined as he recovers from a broken foot he suffered last season but is close to a return.

Nouha Dicko could return to the starting line-up after being benched at the weekend while Adam Le Fondre is available again after being ineligible to face parent club Cardiff on Saturday.

Barnet boss Martin Allen has challenged his players to prove their worth at Wolves, following Saturday's 3-1 League Two defeat at Bristol Rovers.

Allen has told his squad they will be playing for their league places at Molineux on Tuesday, frustrated with what he deemed a lacklustre effort in the west country.

Aaron McLean and John Akinde could reprise the strike partnership that saw its first outing in the weekend defeat in Bristol, but Allen will not be shy when it comes to making changes.

Michael Gash and Shaun Batt could both start though, having come off the bench at the weekend.
