Wolves midfielder Kevin Foley believes criticism of the team's style of play will motivate the players in their battle to stay in the Barclays Premier League.
Mick McCarthy's troops have been in the spotlight since Fulham skipper Danny Murphy accused them, along with Stoke and Blackburn, of employing strong-arm tactics in matches.
"I think people have been ganging up on us a little bit," Foley said ahead of Saturday's clash with West Ham at Molineux. "But we will work together and, if people on the outside want to say things, then fine. It will only make us stronger."
He added: "It just turns into a case of us sticking together as a club. The fans are a big part of that as well."
Foley insists the tackling debate will soon blow over, saying: "The media need something to talk about now and again.
"This month it's tackling, next month will probably be diving or something else.
"We just roll with the punches."
