Sylvan looking to strike it lucky
Wolves take on Real Valladolid in a friendly at Molineux on Saturday, and Ebanks-Blake - now fit again after shaking off a toe injury - will again be looking to link up with new Serbian attacking midfielder Milijas.[LNB]McCarthy is expected to field a 4-3-3 formation, which has been used on and off in the last four friendlies.[LNB]Whether he sticks with the system for next weekend's Premier League opener at home to West Ham remains to be seen, but Ebanks-Blake is sure he can strike up a productive relationship with Miijas, given time.[LNB]"We played it in one or two matches and we've tried to work it in training to, but it really does take time," he told the Express and Star.[LNB]"I've never played with Nenad for a long period of time and neither has he with me.[LNB]"You have to get to know each other's runs, get into each other's minds and know where each individual is comfortable.[LNB]"That's something we'll build up over time, because you wouldn't expect any partnership to be the ultimate in pre-season.[LNB]"It takes the course of the season to build up relationships and partnerships.[LNB]"But good players make those things click and he's a good player - he sees a pass, so if my runs are good enough, he'll find me.[LNB]"So he's someone I'm looking forward to working with more. He's an important player for us, even at this stage, because he brings a lot to the team."[LNB][LNB]
