Robins make Vokes loan swoop
ristol City have swooped to sign Wolves striker Sam Vokes on loan until January after Nicky Maynard was ruled out for a month.[LNB] Vokes, 20, who joined Wolves from Bournemouth two years ago, also had a temporary spell at Leeds last season,[LNB]The Wales international has made only 10 starts for Wolves and Mick McCarthy said: "Sam contributed to our success in getting promoted to the Premier League.[LNB]"Then, because of that success, we signed other players making it more difficult for him to get a spot in the starting line up.[LNB]"Good players need more games and I'm hoping that Sam will get some regular football at Bristol because he is more than capable of playing in the Championship.[LNB]"The only way that he will improve is by playing week in, week out and at the moment I can't guarantee that for him here."[LNB]
