Razak Boukari has been sent to see a specialist in France as Wolves aim to get to the root of his troublesome calf injury.

The winger is struggling to complete his rehabilitation from the rare calf complaint which has kept him on the sidelines since the end of September, and Wolves have taken to the continent in a bid to try and solve the ongoing problem. Manager Stale Solbakken told the club's official website:

"Boukari is in France together with one of our physios (Phil Hayward) to seek a second opinion because that's one thing that isn't good for us. We don't really have the answer to it, so he's with Phil to see if we can sort it out.

"We can't set a time limit, but for him now it's coming to a head because his frustration is growing. He got injured in the game after we played Chelsea, and he proved with some of his actions at Stamford Bridge that he could really give us something, even though we were battered for long periods.

"I think he has a plan in his head because he'll be thinking, 'I should have been fit two weeks ago'. So now it's the third week after that point and that's always hard mentally. We're open-minded about this search for him to get to the bottom of it.

"His English is okay but he doesn't speak fluent English so to be able to tell someone in French is better for him because he can express himself more fully."
